DoodleToon is a Kids Category app designed for children under 13. This app complies with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). We collect personal information from children under 13 only with verifiable parental consent and provide parents with full control over their child's account and data.

Parental Consent Required

Parents or guardians must create and control all accounts. Before any data is collected from a child, we require:

• Parent/guardian to provide email address and create account
• Explicit consent to collect information from children under 13
• Agreement to this privacy policy
• Parental gates before all purchases and external links

Information We Collect (With Parental Consent)

Only after receiving parental consent, we collect:

• Account Information: Parent's email address, username, and password
• Artwork Photos: Images of children's drawings uploaded to create animations
• Text Prompts: Instructions typed by users to describe desired animations
• Generated Content: Animated videos created from the artwork and prompts

Information We Do NOT Collect

• Audio recordings or voice data
• Third-party analytics or tracking data
• Advertising or marketing data
• Location or GPS data
• Persistent device identifiers

How We Use Information

We use collected information solely to:

• Create animated videos from uploaded artwork
• Manage accounts and provide customer support
• Improve our AI animation technology
• Send essential service notifications to parents

We never use data for marketing, advertising, or commercial purposes beyond providing our core service.

Third-Party Services

We share data only with essential service providers:

• Amazon Web Services (AWS): Secure cloud storage for images, videos, and account data in US West (us-west-2) region
• Google Veo 2: AI service that processes artwork images and text prompts to generate animations
• Payment Processors: Process in-app purchases (we do not store payment information)

These services are bound by strict data protection agreements and cannot use your data for their own purposes.

Data Security

We implement comprehensive security measures:

• All data encrypted in transit and at rest
• Secure AWS cloud infrastructure with access controls
• Regular security audits and monitoring
• Limited employee access on a need-to-know basis

Data Retention

Your data is retained until you request deletion. When deletion is requested:

• All account data and content permanently removed within 30 days
• Deletion confirmed via email to parent's account
• Data cannot be recovered after deletion

International Data Transfer

All data is processed and stored in the United States. By using DoodleToon, you consent to the transfer of information to the US, where privacy laws may differ from your home country.

Parental Rights Under COPPA

Parents have the right to:

• Review: Access all personal information collected from your child
• Delete: Request deletion of your child's personal information
